Almost One Year of Grandir 🎉
Turns out, you’re using this bag everywhere. It’s been a minute since we’ve written a blog post. January, actually. And a LOT has happened since then. We’re coming up on one year since launching Grandir, and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this: You gals are finding ways to use the Prêt that even we didn’t think of. It Started With Our Own Mess 👜 When we created Grandir, we were trying to solve our own problem. We were two moms with seven kids between us, constantly hauling all the things. Work stuff. Kid stuff. Sports stuff. Snacks. Water bottles. Computers. Wine. You name it. We were tired of carrying giant tote bags that basically turned into black holes. So Kate set out to fix it. After talking to more than 300 women about what drove them crazy about their bags, we created the Grandir Prêt — a structured, machine-washable tote designed to keep all of your things upright, organized and actually easy to find. Then You Gals Took Over 💙 We knew how we wanted to use it. What has been so fun this year is seeing how you use it. ⚽ Soccer fields + football sidelines💃 Dance studios✈️ Airports + travel💻 Offices + classrooms🚤 Boats + lake days🍷 Girls’ weekends + wine nights🚗 And plenty of front passenger seats — which might still be our favorite Grandir headquarters. And Lately? Things Are Getting Really Fun. ✨ We’re working with Kappa Kappa Gamma chapters across the country on Parents Weekends and chapter gifting opportunities. As two Kappas ourselves, this one feels pretty special. 🔑 Dance studios are customizing Prêts for dancers and dance moms. Sports moms are embroidering them and tying team ribbons onto the handles. We’ve entered the wholesale world and are learning an entirely new side of building a product company. And every week, someone seems to show us another way this bag fits into her life. Maybe the World DID Need Another Tote Bag 😉 We didn't create a bag because the world needed another tote bag. We created it because we needed a better one. And we knew there had to be more women out there like us — women who love a little organization, are carrying approximately 47 things at any given moment, and appreciate when something can be functional AND look good doing it. Turns out, there are. So, What’s Next for Grandir? As we head toward year two, we’re still doing what we’ve done from the beginning: Trying things. Listening. Learning. Tweaking. Growing. And figuring out all the places Grandir belongs. We have some really fun things in the works, and we can't wait to bring you gals along for it.
